I run the NMR Laboratory at the University of Kansas, part of the Molecular Structures Group which supports chemical, pharmaceutical, and biological research. It is located in Malott Hall. I also have appointments as a research professor in the departments of Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Chemistry at KU.

My research interests are in applications of NMR to solve chemical and pharmaceutical problems. Some things I've worked on (and published on):
 

Taxol and related compounds (structure and conformation) Peptides, peptide prodrugs, and some small proteins (secondary structures; membrane transport) Some natural products that weren't taxanes (with thanks to those who ground up the plants) Biochemistry (with thanks to those who ground up the brains, adrenal glands, etc.)
